Whether uploading images directly on blogger or embedding image stored on Flickr, you start on the same step. You start on writing a new post. For downloading images directly, you click on insert image icon. When you click this icon, you'll get a window that allows you to select an image or multiple images from your computer. Click the Browse button to locate the ones you want.
When embedding an image stored on Flickr, you just go to Flickr copy the HTML code and paste it on the blog. I would have to say that embedding images was easier to do if you follow the steps. The advantage of uploading directly is that you can upload multiple images which i am not sure whether that is possible when embedding.

Practical ways of using RSS
RSS feeds are a great way a company can let it's employees know of events and activities that may be happening soon. Also lets say a company has an online store, it can add details about newly added items to an RSS feed to let it's customers know what's new.

Feed Reader
A feed reader is an application that receives feeds and displays the content of them. This application is automatically updated whenever new content is added. One of the benefits is that it makes it very convenient to follow a blog without having to to go back to it and see if new entries have been posted. Another one is that it gives one a chance to have information aggregated into one place where it can be easily accessed when the reader needs it.
Drawbacks to using feed readers is that not all websites support RSS feeds and therefore it's not possible to subscribe to all website that one would want. Also Some of the information that comes on the feed reader is not relevant to the reader's interests although the reader might have subscribed to the feed.

Companies that use Wikis
Many companies use wikis for various reasons. One of those companies is Nokia. According to this article, Nokia uses wikis to "collaborate on solving product-design problems and to explore alternatives to e-mail and collaborative software". This use of wikis help groups that might be working on teams on a single document/project to assimilate all team members inputs in a timely manner.
Formatting Blog Posts
Today i am trying out some of the fancy formatting options in Blogger.
